Some of the most common signs of SUD include:

This schedule gives participants the freedom to participate in the treatment plan without any interference in their daily routine. We want our patients to prioritize treatment while accommodating their diverse commitments.

Medication Assisted Recovery

We include medication-assisted recovery options, like Vivitrol and Suboxone, as part of our extensive substance misuse treatment process. Our expert medical team collaborates with participants to identify the most appropriate and effective medication-related interventions that cater to their distinct needs.

Inclusive Approach to Co-Occurring Challenges

AFHS IOP warmly accepts individuals dealing with simultaneous mental health issues. We understand the integral relationship between substance use and mental health. Our team offers combined support to address mental health and substance abuse. Participants have access to a mental health prescriber to confirm a comprehensive and coordinated treatment plan.

Group Therapy Sessions

We include group therapy sessions in our program, held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. These sessions offer a caring and cooperative environment for participants to share experiences, learn how to cope, and create a community with like-minded individuals.

Convenient Individual Therapy

Meeting the individual needs of our clients is our priority. We offer weekly individual therapy sessions, scheduled at your convenience. This customized approach enables a more profound understanding of personal challenges, goals, and recovery strategies.

Psychiatric Care on an Individual Basis

We appreciate the significance of psychiatric care in certain cases and offer individual-based psychiatric services. Our team collaborates with clients to evaluate their mental health requirements and plan psychiatric care as needed for a highly customized treatment.

How Long Is an Intensive Outpatient Treatment?

Intensive outpatient program services are performed in outpatient settings, so the length of the treatment may be longer than that of inpatient treatment. Typically, our intensive programs are offered multiple hours per week. Our intensive outpatient programs are tailored for each person, so the times may differ. Most patients choose intensive treatment for a few months. The duration of our programs depends on your health and wellness. We’ll work together as you progress toward a healthier future. Many of our patients in the Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program transition to our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient Program when they feel comfortable and ready for the next step.
